"I plan to finish first in Iowa," Huckabee said on Thursday morning. "I know a lot of people have written me off, but they wrote me off eight years ago. They wrote Rick Santorum off four years ago. I'm still counting that we're going to have a big surprise for people on February first."
"This is not a surrender. This is an all out declaration," Huckabee charged, adding that he wouldn't be working this hard if he didn't think he can win.
"There is no short cut here," he continued, explaining that candidates can send out mailers and buy up all of the radio and TV ads in Iowa, "but bottom line, if you don't come out here and look these folks..."
Huckabee is familiar with how voters in Iowa tend to think, as Huckabee won the Iowa caucus in 2008 when he last ran for President of the United States.
"We're going to actually hit our milestone of having conducted town halls in every one of the 99 counties of Iowa," Huckabee told Bannon, adding that he is doing 150 events in the Hawkeye state in January.

Huckabee also said he would also stop trade deals that are "costing millions of Americans their jobs."

Hecky durn!
Is Yeb! out of the race yet?
LOL
LOL!!!!! Good one, Jack!
So where did that get you, hmmmmm, President Huckabee?
What in the world do you stay in this for, your views & your faith is already represented?
The late night shilling contest to see who can con the most people out of their hard earned money for worthless cures.
Well I PLANNED to win the Power-ball lottery.
I guess, Huckabee, we’d both better get used to disappointment.
No way, I plan to finish first. Also second.
Huck’s shadow PAC is currently running one of the stupidest radio ads I’ve ever heard. If memory serves, it goes something like this...
With the usual ominous, haunting background music, the narrator claims Ted Cruz “doesn’t share our values!”
“Listen to what Cruz says.” A man allegedly asks him something to the effect of, “Is abolishing gay marriage one of your top 3 priorities?”
Then, it plays a Ted Cruz sound bite, barely one syllable: “No,” which is abruptly cut off, leaving the impression that he was going to explain. But, that’s not what the Huckster’s PAC wants us to hear.
It’s so ridiculous, I can’t imagine anyone could take it seriously.
Maybe Huck actually meant he’s planning to be finished first. That’s a lot closer to reality.

Yes I heard that and pondered my answer to the same question. Should Ted or anyone spend 100 percent of their time fighting gay marriage and leave ALL the rest of the issues on the table?
My answer, but imagine Ted's voice, is something like "As a Christian I'm not sure which progressive issues are more offensive to the Lord. Socialism is the most Godless form of government and Obamacare is only one aspect of this administrations attempts fundamentally transform this country into a Godless socialist state. Gays in the Military, Transgenders in the military, the removal of our borders to insure a majority of democrat votes and the list goes on. As president I will aggressively fight all of these Leftist initiatives and will happily remove any low hanging fruit from the Leftist tree of Godlessness. But how does one define a highest priority of such a long list and what that means to the efforts on the others in the list?"
Yeah, well I plan to win the Powerball drawing this Saturday. With one ticket, my odds are better than Huckabee winning Iowa; with none they’re even.
