This is stupid.
Just wait until people hit their penalties this year.
Because Ryan saw to it that both were fully funded in the budget he pushed through a couple of weeks ago.
I would love to see the look of absolute panic on the faces of Ryan and McConnell that would result if Obama signed the bill instead of vetoing it.
*Snort*
Trump was right, we have been “winning” so much I am getting sick of “winning”.
Win? I am sick and tired of this crap.
“Speaker Paul Ryan a dual victory in the process.”
No victory. This is just a pathetic attempt to look like
they are trying to keep their word when they were lying
through their teeth about getting rid of Obamacare.
They could have fought a more legitimate battle in defending
it but did they? No they didn’t. Instead what did they do?
They funded it, twice.
Real Clear Politics my a$$. More like Real Clear truck load of BS.
I watched this feckless p.o.s. speak with a straight face to the nation last night. Incredulous gall, especially in light of having just passed a trillion dollar budget giving soebarkah and the rats AND spineless soul-less gop-e EVERYTHING!
Cynical kabuki theater whose only purpose is to continue to sucker naive conservativesout of their votes and contributions.
Moronic analysis. Ryan is a pliable fool.
This is a win? That’s a joke. Get back to me when either Lyin’ Ryan or McConnell get the backbone to attach a bill to defund something to a “must pass” bill, resulting in Obummer vetoing it and accusing them of “shutting the government down.” Neither one of them have the nerve to do it. Cruz and Trump would do in in a minute and would stare the Kenyan down as long as it took. Ryan and McConnell would be hiding under their desks.
Send that bill to him every week for the next 52.
The “issue is likely settled until after the election” talk is surrender and political BS crap.
Nothing more than bread and circuses from the GOPe.
Could have done this in the budget bill. Fortunately, Ryan won’t be in Congress after the next election - either via primary, or Conservatives simply skipping over his name in the general.
This is what I’ve been urging the Republicans to do. Pass it and get it to his desk and make him veto it — then use that veto as an issue against the Democrats. I don’t know what took them so long, but Ryan’s doing the right thing here.
The only “win” I care about, is the total destruction of BarryCare and the salting of the political earth to see that its like never sees the light of day again.
We were supposed to have rid the world of fascists back in my fathers era. Not vote them into office in this one.
OK. So this POS has accomplished his one reluctant tilt at the windmill. And now it’s time to get back to divvying up the spoils.
