Even better, snowing in the Sierras. Ten feet from this storm alone.

My step-brother and his wife are happy about it. They’re fortunate enough to live where they don’t get much flooding when it rains hard in the LA area. I imagine those who are in flood-prone areas aren’t quite as happy. I feel for those folks. The footage I’ve seen on tv has been ugly.

Nothing in this story about San Diego (population 1,333,000) which was also hard hit.

And every news broadcast reminds us we are in a drought scolding Californians for not meeting our Great Leaders 25% water reduction goals they mandated.
You would think with as much flooding going on they would keep quiet about the “drought”.

The name El Niño, from the Spanish for
"the little boy", refers to the Christ child, because the phenomenon is usually noticed around Christmas time in the Pacific Ocean off the west coast of South America."
Why don't they use ENGLISH and call it
what it IS ? A Pacific Ocean irregularly of SLIGHTLY WARMER WATRER CURRENTS.

We’re getting a bit tired of the rain in MS and the area along the paths of these things - would be nice if they could be trained to only rain (and snow) over areas that need it...
