This is no different than the gas company paying you and giving you employment to put in a small pipeline that runs through the corner of your backyard and paying you dividends.
Their is NO down side to this other than the U.S. becoming even less dependent on foreign oil.
Caliph Ubama can't have that.

Canadian oil is still foreign oil.
More secure, better trade partner, lots of advantages.
But the Keystone XL won’t reduce dependence on foreign oil.
But I’ll take Canadian Oil over Venezuelan Oil any day and twice on Sunday.
