If Obama allows himself to be photographed with Sanders in the next few weeks, Hillary will be indicted. Obama now realizes picking an old demented white man to be his Vice President was a long term mistake. There really is no strong candidate to continue his “fundamental transformations”.

Obama, who would rather die than let Bill Clinton back into the White House (that's the one CERTAIN fact in all of this) sends Leon Panetta and Vernon Jordan with an offer - no prosecution for now and a pardon on January 19, 2017 in exchange for a withdrawal "for family and health reasons".
Hillary withdraws.
Elizabeth Warren announces the next day.
She starts to win primaries.
It goes down to California and Oregon, she wins both handily.

Let this play out for another 2-4 months and then when Hillary drops out of the race, there is only one person the Dems can turn to in order to save the party, save the election and most importantly to save the Obama legacy -— Michelle.
