That would have been dumb. She may have become a permanent resident (landed immigrant status) in Canada, which would have left her an American citizen with the right to return and live here as a citizen.

Do you have the slightest comprehension or understanding that “that link” was simply to some random person’s “timeline” that he/she put together? Do you actually believe everything you believe on the internet? Why should “Canada” clear up some random internet poster’s ramblings?
