The left, which controls the machinations of government, has made a habit of confounding FOIA. Unless Congress makes the individual government employee personally liable for such frustration, nothing will change, as there is no price to pay for inaction and delay. Bad actors should be dismissed with a prohibition on future government employment. They should also be made to defend themselves in court in any action by the frustrated FOIA-seeking organization.

Therefore, they're ALL accessories after the fact, and also are all obstructing justice, like the US Department of Justice.
