She is attempting to do 2 things here.

First, she is attempting to gain the sympathy card for herself. Here she was all sick and puking and Trump was mean to her ... and we should be giving her our sympathies ... and a pass ... for her attacks because of her illness.

Second, she is trying to do the heavy lifting for Hillary and put weight behind Hillary's charges of sexism against Trump.

There is no doubt in my mind that this "announcement" was heavily influenced (as in completely designed and crafted then given to her) by the GOPe. They have tried frontal attacks against Trump and utterly failed. Now they are trying to use proxies to take him out.
