30 second ads are not the place to announce a plan. They can be used to advertise a plan that has been previously announced. So what is Trump’s plan?
I know - he is too masterful to announce his intentions in advance. But what his ad requires is troops on the ground. If that is his thinking, it is both very different than what he said when GWB was doing it, and it is something he OUGHT to discuss somewhere!

Given how often I’ve deployed to go get shot at, I’m hardly a weenie. But from 2003-2009, Trump attacked GWB for using troops. Now he is claiming he’ll...well, he will WHAT? His claim he’ll take ISIS’s oil is as stupid as GWB saying we would use Iraq’s oil to pay for the war in 2003. It doesn’t work that way, and I don’t like being lied to. Not by GWB and not by Trump.
