If I owned a business there, I’d move it as soon as I could. Once something like that happens—especially with no arrests—there’s no recovery.
That seems to be the fate of most malls; they replaced the urban shopping districts, now the internet is replacing them. The last few times I was in a mall (not very often at all), I was surprised 1) at how many of the kiosks in the walkways were food-related, and 2) how many of the “shoppers” were foreigners with no visible purchases (as though they were tourists visiting a museum of capitalism).
