Trump has a bossy side, no doubt about it. But he also has a caring and a visionary side.
I see no reason a priori that this can’t be the recipe for a most excellent cake. The devils and angels are all in the details.
Trump isn’t a pre-made, off the shelf solution. People wanting this ought to look elsewhere. Trump is the possibility guy; my biggest impression of him when I saw him on TV the other night were his gestures at his own chest, his own heart, talking about all the things that would be possible for America with the most obvious sense of hope.
Taking advantage of this would sound like a very obvious thing. Trump needs to be fed the best ideas that the country can come up with. He’s embraced some not-so-best ideas that may have some appearance of merit but miss the mark; but I believe that may be for lack of having been presented seriously with better. When someone like Jeff Sessions collaborates with him, we see things like a wonderful 2nd Amendment focused manifesto. You’d never know he wasn’t an ardent constitutionalist. But actually he isn’t. He’s an ardent good-idea man. He just needs to hear the good ideas. If the constitution wins by its own merit and Donald hears enough about this, Donald will be on board.
Bossy is a term used to marginalize women Same traits are considered leadership in men. ;-)
