I suggest an overturning of the system by someone like Donald Trump would go a long way to reversing the damage.
If Trump wakes up what is left of Americans maybe. However, if Trump really becomes effective he will be shot like old Huey Long in the 1930’s.(I’m not a supporter of Huey Long. He drove the left crazy other than that fact he was a corrupt old time Southern politician.)

The Bolsheviks were economic cretins and malicious, but they knew a thing or two about successful revolution. Probably their brightest, Leon Trotsky once said wrote something to the effect that revolutions are doomed to failure, until conditions make them inevitable. We are not there yet. Not by a long shot.
I agree with Laz that this whole thing stinks of agents provocateur. Read up on the Okhrana sometime. They were the Tsar’s secret police, and churned up trouble in order, they claimed, to flush out subversives. As a byproduct, they perpetuated their existence and oh yeah, their paychecks. They are the ones who created the Protocols of Zion. They ended up being the main suppliers of illicit weapons, explosives, and training to subversives. That is the kind of thing brain-dead, dead soul, Statist operatives do. We are burdened with an abundance of such drones. This thing stinks of such an operation, and I am sure the feds have been slavering for the opportunity for payback on the not-too-smart Bundy family.
Unfortunately, the Bundys took the bait. Conservatives should heed carefully the coincidence in time with this farce, and this degenerate president’s assault on the 2d Amendment. We see thinly veiled administration trolls here all the time. Do not doubt that they put their best efforts into suborning the Bundys with foolish aspirations.
Trump has not convinced anyone that he cares about the Constitution, or even knows what it says. Ted Cruz clearly does know the Constitution and may be the only one who can take the oath of office intelligently.
