The problem with Cruz is that he is, when you get right down to it, still a politician. He may be conservative, but he's a still a politician, and his first instinct is still to play the Washington game. He still has half a snout in the trough of donor money. As such, even when he wants to do something that's right, he's going to play the game and try to compromise and try to convince the donors, etc. etc. etc.
Trump doesn't care about any of that.
Trump is the man for the hour right now. Cruz can come along once the pieces are picked up, and be the wise elder statesman we've needed for so long.
Truthfully where I live Romney would get less votes than Karl Marx so out of some deluded notion of what I could actually say with my vote I did check off Romney after promising myself I would not. My bad for sure.
We have very little to argue about and that is mostly for fun but I will vote for Trump not because I am enamored by him but because he will be the opponent of Hillary or whomever the Democrats put forward.
How’s this. If you can produce a comment, with a good link, of Cruz articulating the loss of national sovereignty due to the never-ending horde of unchecked illegal invaders flooding across our wide open borders, and if he/it (1)includes specific references to the survivors of the vast and devastating crime wave wreaked on the US by illegals, and (2) dates from the early days of Cruz’ campaign, I’ll switch from Trump to Cruz.

Took the bait? Hell, he baited the damn hook. His postings are the prototype for a deranged Trump supporter.
Even I admit there are worse fates. But I have no issue with that. What I have a problem with is people that are all gung ho on Trump making people believe he is a conservative savior. Because if and when he wins, there are going to be a lot of disillusioned ‘conservatives’ wondering where the liberalism came from.
