The Bible that I read says that a real Christian is defined as one who is forgiven - it is a "Gift" of God through Christ, as one realizes that they "fall short of the Glory of God" and are in need of a Savior.
I don't pretend to judge your faith - for, as a real Christian, I have not earned the first stone to throw.
Grace and truth came by Jesus Christ.
We are saved by faith through grace, and not of ourselves.
I would go farther on to say I believe the doctrine of predestination and of election.
