"Ethan Couch's parents - who Texas Judge Jean Boyd conceded empowered the teen with such a strong sense of entitlement, he couldn't be held fully accountable for his drunken driving killings of four people - each have long, detailed legal records, though neither has spent a moment in prison"

Tonya Couch will be charged...and if convicted, faces between two and 10 years in jail. There will be much hand wringing, speeches will be made, news conferences conducted, pictures flashed on the evening news....and in the end...she will walk away with a slap on the back of the hand.
And society will smile smugly and say" "See, we do punish our royalty."
And all will be well until the next stupid thing that comes along.

Smooth move, Exlax! I guess he figures he’ll get preferential treatment in a Mexican jail! I wonder how much they had to pay the Mexican authorities to pull that one keeping him out of this country, for a while.

He should receive the same treatment from the Mexicans as Sgt. Tamooressi.

Who do you blame when your kid is a brat?
Pampered and spoiled like a siamese cat
Blaming the kids is a lie and a shame
You know exactly who's to blame
The mother and the father

Critics charged that Boyd had essentially given a free pass to Couch because he was white and wealthy, noting that in 2004, Boyd sentenced Eric Miller a sixteen-year-old from a poor family, to twenty years imprisonment for killing one person while driving drunk.Fatal crash in 2004 drew different sentence from Tarrant judge

I can see why she is divorced.Really???
I can't.
But that's only because I can't see why she was married in the first place.
She has a certain look that says "stay away if you value happiness and your sanity."
Most people call that look-B!TC#

They sent her to California, not Texas. Let’s see if she really ends up back in the Tarrant County jail.

...Texas Judge Jean Boyd conceded empowered the teen with such a strong sense of entitlement, he couldn't be held fully accountable for his drunken driving killings of four people While "moral philosophy" has ceased to be a subject serious authors contemplate, the illogic conctained in this statement demonstrates that those wielding the power of government have become deranged. When we abandon the principle of cause and effect, we abandon all the empirical sciences, history, and the basis of the Common Law. We have literally lost our collective minds. And when we abandon the principal of personal responsibility for the consequences of our actions, not thoughts, but actions, we surrender the foundations of western morality.
It is sad that the undermining of critical thinking was intended to prepare us for the now collapsed and much maligned philosophy of Marxist-Leninism, and has prepared us instead for Dhimmitude.
