HALEIWA, OAHU (HawaiiNewsNow) -
President Obama continued his holiday vacation in Hawaii on Wednesday with what's become an annual tradition for the First Family -- a luau on the North Shore of Oahu.
The luau is hosted by the president's high school classmate, Bobby Titcomb, every year when the First Family is in town. This year, the motorcade pulled up to his home near Haleiwa shortly after 1:20 p.m.
Titcomb is a long-time friend of the president, graduating a year after Obama from Punahou School on Oahu.
He is often seen golfing with the president during his vacations in Hawaii, along with fellow Punahou alumns Mike Ramos and Greg Orme.
The First Family arrived in Hawaii on December 19. They are expected to stay through the New Year, returning to Washington, D.C. on January 3.

Before I moved to the Big Island, I paseed the Obola convoy going north through Waimanalo (two lane road) I assume returning from commandeering Hanauma bay for just themselves all day.
I was heading south going home after work, and all the people ahead of me start pulling off the road when they see the flashing lights. I kept going, thankful for the lack of traffic in front of me and hoisted the finger out the window.
After looking at the long line of black SUVs I decided the raised finger might irritate SS or the SEAL detachment, so I transitioned to a thumbs down for the remainder of the convoy. Really sped up the commute having all those idiots pull off the road.
I doubt after seven years of this crap, Honolulu residents are more tolerant of clogging up an already congested island.
