We at least got the concept of Doppler and the Red Shift in High School. Fifty years ago.

We at least got the concept of Doppler and the Red Shift in High School.

So did Einstein, at least to the Doppler Effect on sound, which is how he first envisioned his relativity theory --- hence the Red Shift for light.
