Didn’t they try something like this before, fund the Democrat program and then send a bill to cancel the program, knowing Obama would veto it?

They should have been sending him so many huge bills, that he wouldn’t have time to do anything else but pass or veto them.

Maybe a few would have slipped through without his signature.

As a free-standing bill, it stands no chance of passage. Attached to a "must pass" bill, it risked the Democrat Senate or the President "shutting down the government", but it might have passed.

Once again, a Republican Congress is unwilling to exercise its power. Either a.) they are afraid to or b.) they are in favor of the President's actions and requests.

One is pitiful. The other is despicable.
