We’ve been there. We know what’s there. The only thing of value we’ll bring back from there is a thorough systems test of what we’ll need when we reach out for Mars, asteroids, and beyond. So spending a lot of money on the moon does not seem too productive.
I’d agree if it’s one or the other, I’d take Mars far over the moon.
