He fought it by supporting permanent legal status for illegal aliens, a 500 percent increase in H1B1, and the doubling of green cards, provided border security came first. Cruz supported legalization as recently as March of this year, as my link demonstrates.

Your link does not "prove" any such thing, although it is open to that interpretation. Giving you the benefit of your own interpretation, you would compare Cruz on a tactical procedural issue unfavorably against a career of hypocrisy, flip-flopping, admitted venality, and self-confessed politics of convenience so flagrant in the career of Donald Trump.

Donald Trump is a thermonuclear hypocrite and you would invoke the discredited tactic of relativism to rehabilitate him.
