Considering how tough Donald Trump is talking about Bill Clintonâs sex scandals now, it might surprise you (or not, because honestly, how many things has he suddenly changed his mind on at this point) to learn that The Donald didnât always feel this way.
Just to review, in the past week, Trump has tweeted out a lot about the former president, saying that itâs not him that has a âpenchant for sexism,â itâs Clinton.
Trump has tweeted about Clintonâs âterrible record of women abuseâ and sent a warning-like âBE CAREFUL!â to Hillary Clinton for calling him a sexist.
But CNN tonight ran a clip of an interview Trump did with Wolf Blitzer in 2008, when he talked about both Bill Clinton and George W. Bush. And would you like to guess which one he was kinder to?

Blah blah blah
Trump was running for nothing at the time. He opined on the (then) current situation.
I notice the ou don’t bother to post anything from either of his policy books (particularly the one from 2000). Not to worry wouldn’t want to strain yourself thinking
Oh please. That doesn’t even pass the giggle test.
I am (and have been from day one) a Cruz supporter. You are an embarrassment. Cruz and Trump are avoiding fighting. Why can’t we do the same?
I am good if Trump is the nominee. Read his policy books and learn something
Hey I have supported Ted from day one..
I would gladly vote forDonald
Read Trumps book released in 2000 on policy.
Read Trumps policy books.
Good lord man if you can’t distinguish between what one might say as a business man when asked a stupid question by a simpering reporter and real policy something is wrong with you..
But since you pride yourself on carrying the picture of Forrest, I am not surprised at your self serving attitude
Read trumps policy books. Check out trumps active support of Reagan at a time when Cruz wasnt
This is utterly ridiculous.
You have lost all perspective.
Cruz isn’t spending time on this and neither should you
Exactly. Trump may provide many with the cathartic experience of hearing someone finally blast forcefully back at the media and establishment types...
But to make the claim Trump is a “conservative” is to pervert the meaning of the word.
I wonder if Trump has always gone with the political winds depending on who was in office. (Donations to Hillary, “I voted for Obama, I always pick winners”, etc.) As a renowned businessman it probably doesn’t make sense to make waves with those that control so many agencies that could wreck havoc on a successfull business man.
I’m not sure what active support Cruz might have or have not provided Reagan - he was ten years old when Reagan ran the first time.
I don’t really care what Trump said years ago. My mind is made up, I’m voting for him, and might campaign for him.
It’s funny how utterly foolish we are to think that there is somewhere this perfect candidate out there for us.
Trump will evolve and get done what needs to get done. His commentary on the state of our country, the power of the media, the idiot pundit class and the do nothing politicians is music to our ears.
Give the guy a break.
Exactly.
Read trumps policy books, look at his very active support of Reagan when the GOPe all wanted HW
Trump is not your typical polititian.
Are you seriously telling me tha if Ted does not win the nomination but Trump does that you would sit home and allow Hitlery to be elected?
Not nearly as desperate as "you folks" willing to overlook such serious and fundamental flaws in Donald Trump. YOU are willing to risk the very future of America on a media brand "personality."
Artcore, here is a plain and simple fact: You would never have heard of Donald Trump if he hadn't deliberately decided to make himself a celebrity. It's like he thought to himself, "What's the point of being a billionaire if you're not famous?"
Otherwise the other 38 dozen U.S. billionaires, including the several real estate moguls who leave Trump in the dust and are worth as much as four times what Trump is worth, would be even more famous than Trump. But none of us have ever heard of them because they haven't sought fame.
Trump is famous for one reason: his own vanity.
Now you can vote for that if you want, but it's an obvious mistake.
BRAVO.
*rolls eyes*
“Are you seriously telling me that if Ted does not win the nomination but Trump does that you would sit home and allow Hitlery to be elected?”
Where in the world did you get that from my post? Sadly though, in socialist Washington state, I fear that my vote will probably just be drowned out for Hillary or Sanders anyway. The best I can do is support the candidate of my choice with cash. For the time-being, that is Cruz.
From day one I have been a Cruz supporter. I am good if it’s Trump. Pretty much no with anyone else.
My question was asked because some here at FR seem to have that attitude. It was an honest question not an effort to do anything else
Well ... "renowned" by Trump's own lights and efforts. In point of fact, at an estimated worth of $3.9 - $4.1 billion (though Trump claims $10 billion), Trump is a third-rate billionaire, hardly renowned.
If Trump had not deliberately cultivated publicity and media coverage, he would be no more "renowned" than Donald Bren, an innovative and pioneering real estate mogul who is worth four times what Trump is worth.
The ONLY reason Donald Trump is famous is because of his own vanity. NIFTSTER, remember it and understand that voting for that kind of "business smarts" in the White House is a very bad risk.
When is the last “conservative” President who acted that way in office?
While I didn’t vote for Romney (I wrote in a neighbor - my anti-GOPe vote), at the moment I would vote for Trump if Cruz doesn’t get the nomination. As I said, in Washington State it is probably a moot point.
Now then - what happens if Trump goes off the reservation and runs third party?? In my state it probably still wouldn’t matter - but in other states it might be close, and then one might need to bet on the winning horse, even if it isn’t your favorite.
Like his candidate, GPH is bluster and hot air, it's all he's got.
