Considering how tough Donald Trump is talking about Bill Clintonâs sex scandals now, it might surprise you (or not, because honestly, how many things has he suddenly changed his mind on at this point) to learn that The Donald didnât always feel this way.
Just to review, in the past week, Trump has tweeted out a lot about the former president, saying that itâs not him that has a âpenchant for sexism,â itâs Clinton.
Trump has tweeted about Clintonâs âterrible record of women abuseâ and sent a warning-like âBE CAREFUL!â to Hillary Clinton for calling him a sexist.
But CNN tonight ran a clip of an interview Trump did with Wolf Blitzer in 2008, when he talked about both Bill Clinton and George W. Bush. And would you like to guess which one he was kinder to?

Donald Trump is a thermonuclear hypocrite and you would invoke the discredited tactic of relativism to rehabilitate him.
A lot has changed since 2008...
I like Cruz and Trump and see their strengths and weakness. What I also see is that Trump is hitting the Clinton’s while a very vocal minority of Cruz supporters here are hitting Trump.
Trump is currently engaging in all out warfare with the Clinton’s, lets have his back on this one folks...
A tactical procedural issue that, apparently, lasted 2 years after the fight was over, and which basically assumes that Cruz, when stating he supported legalization, and offered all these other amendments to help the bill "pass the House," was lying to Congress.
You already knew I'd say that, because I've told you dozens of times, but you're too dishonest to actually respond to the issues and not to strawmen.
This is why after nearly 17 years of calling FR home it is no more.
You’re right, Trump isn’t a gentlemen.
And no gentlemen can beat the Clintons.
Donald Trump is a thermonuclear hypocrite and you would invoke the discredited tactic of relativism to rehabilitate him.

Hey Nate, take a look at Trump’s polling; take a look at Trump’s rallies; he needs no rehabilitating. Trump is taking it to the Democrats like nobody else can or will, and this is resonating with voters whether you like it or not.
Food for thought: Cruz’s support for the expansion of H1B visas was done as a sitting U.S. Senator; Trump’s stand various positions were held as a private citizen that affected NO one.
Trump was a Clintonista until he wanted to beat his former allies he funded.
Trump is a Clintonista who supported Clinton. That’s a fact, not a slander.
Recent events prove otherwise!
The issue is that Trump is a political opportunist and not the man to lead a new conservative movement. Changing the subject constantly to Cruz supporters is doing nothing to change that.
Sorry, didn't see this message. The Cruz-bots are self-destructive. They are not operating as rational people.
Take a look at Triumph of the Will and explain me why crowd size or enthusiasm obviates the need for rehabilitation.
Cruzâs support for the expansion of H1B visas was done as a sitting U.S. Senator;
H1B visas demonstrably increase the wealth of America, produce more jobs, lead to the creation of new businesses. The objection to H1B visas is not to their existence but to their abuse. When Cruz supported H1B visas it was not clear the degree to which people like Disney were abusing the practice. The contrary was clear that, properly administered, the program produces economic gain. Upon learning of the abuses, Cruz moved to correct the problem. He did exactly what a sitting US Senator should do under both sets of conditions.
Trumpâs stand various positions were held as a private citizen that affected NO one.
No man is an island, Trump's contributions advanced Hillary's political ambitions. Trump's contributions were admitted payoffs to advance his ambitions with crony capitalism. Suggesting this hurts no one is to abandon reason. Every step Donald Trump has ever taken was calculated to advance Donald Trump. There is nothing in his biography to suggest that he will abandon this practice if he gains the most powerful office in the world. God help us if he does not have an epiphany the minute before he takes the oath of office.
The issue is that Trump is a political opportunist and not the man to lead a new conservative movement. Changing the subject constantly to Cruz supporters is doing nothing to change that.

Why don’t you explain to us why Cruz isn’t leading in the “new conservative movement”? Wouldn’t the GOP primary be a great place to shine for this new movement? And please don’t blame Trump for Cruz not doing well.
Good tap dancing Nate.
Read what you quoted.
Why don’t you start a thread about Cruz?
And why would Cruz be squished like a bug by the GOP and Trump is not?
NO ONE that fights fair will beat the Clintons.
I acknowledged in my previous post that your interpretation of Cruz's position can be inferred. Cruz says that this was merely a tactical maneuver to expose the Gang of Eight for their plot to enfranchise illegal immigrants as voting citizens. The question of jobs is important that the survival of conservatism depends on preventing 11 to 30,000,000 illegal immigrants from voting Democrat. This Cruz was attempting to do, and along with Jeff Sessions who fully applauds his efforts and accepts him as a brother in arms, there were damned few aiding him. Donald Trump was nowhere to be heard, a rare condition for a blowhard who had billions to spend to rent a microphone and already had plenty of press attention.
At the time there were very few elected officials anywhere who were rallying to oppose the Gang of Eight bill. Donald Trump was nowhere near the fray, did not spend any of his money to run commercials to stop the Gang of Eight bill but, well after Cruz and others like Dave Brat (whom you did point out) and talk radio where Cruz was prominent changed the political climate, Trump capitalized on the issue claiming to have changed the political climate himself alone.
On the one hand we will be told that Cruz is to be criticized for not accomplishing anything and on the other hand we will be told that Cruz is to be criticized for antagonizing fellow senators, in short for not being conservative enough. In other words, above the fray we will criticized Cruz for his tactical decisions while our own candidate sits it out. All this while Donald Trump was bribing politicians with campaign contributions to advance his crony capitalist empire.
To compare Cruz under these circumstances with the thermonuclear hypocrisy of Donald Trump beggars reason.
Some squish!
A lie. It's direct statements by Cruz.
I hope we can do so without accusing the other of being dishonest.
Can't help it. You literally brushed by my direct statements to repeat yourself. You talk about "respectful discourses," yet pathologically continue to misrepresent my statements and refuse to deal with me with any real respect.
