"Once upon a time, New Hampshire and the Union Leader were conservative. Then Taxachusetts drove all its lib commuters over the border."

The funny thing is that the immigrants to NH, the "Massholes", tend to vote more conservative and more Republican than do the native born NH residents.

Like you I blamed a wave of immigrants for all our problems with their demands for increased public services etc.

Turns out native born swamp Yankees are perfectly capable of voting Democrat and manifesting all sorts of liberal predilections.

Still, gotta love a state with no income tax, no sales tax, cheap liquor and where you can hunt on Sunday.

There is a lot of latent liberalism in Red Hampshire that comes out at each election cycle.
