Isn’t it though. Lots of smiles Weeks back DT spoke in front of a Republican Jewish grouo. They got all his one liners — lots of chuckles. Since then I’m laughing more at his Braggadocious comments understanding that they are tongue in cheek — almost a regional humor thing. Then read an article about how many of the vaudeville comics used an exaggerated of the same common speak. It was ethic to the region of NYC.
When his son Eric called him Pops on national TV before Christmas, I thought of course he is “pops”. It’s a regional thing. Here it would be dad or daddy. But Burroughs of NYC it’s Pops when you love and respect your father
I don’t know about that....I always called my father “daddy”.
Perhaps Manhattan is different from the other boroughs. *shrugs*
