Last year during the Christmas season, I said “Merry Christmas” to the cashier in one of the local stores that I visited this year - the reply last year was we were told we could NOT say Merry Christmas only Happy Holidays. So this year when I received a Merry Christmas back I questioned the cashier and she said the whole tone had changed and yes they were allowed to say Merry Christmas.
SO, I don’t know anyone other than TRUMP that has brought this conversation to the fore front, if there is someone else please enlighten me.

I was on the phone talking to a support guy who was clearly in India and as we hung up he said Merry Christmas, I purposely didn’t offer it first because he was obviously in India where as far as I know they don’t celebrate it. It made my day and of course said Merry Christmas back!
