You watch, he's going to get the in coming now since he's leading in Iowa, (something that I think might be set up by the Rubio and Bush groups). He's peaking too early.
I don't think so. He's nailing down his support in Iowa and if Cruz wins there then I think he'll take South Carolina as well. That will be two losses for Trump out of the first three, and the beginning of a big swing for Cruz in time for Super Tuesday.
Also, this will rally the Trump crowd to turn out for him. I can't imagine they will sit back and not turn out when it's close.
Same for Cruz. But the Iowa is not just walk-in-and-vote. It's a caucus which requires additional time and effort.
Lastly, Iowa is not a winner take all is it?
No, it's proportional.
IOwa is really good at unrailing a candidate. You put a disproportionate amount of time in there for nothing.
No doubt if Cruz wins he’ll get people to listen to him, but Iowa is a tough state, and why are they discounting Trunmp’s people? He’s got Santorum’s guy. ANd he’s got that little chunky guy.
