I get that from time to time. And you are right. There’s nothing ambiguous about it. Conservatism is what it always was. It’s moderates at best that ‘demand’ it redefine itself to fit their needs of the hour.
Because it’s a lesser evil. No matter what.
Except it isn’t.
And that was exactly what and who I was encountering at that time; a moderate supporting lifelong liberal Trump who was demanding I accept an alternative definition of conservative. I don't think so.
