Well, Cathy of Arrogance, FYI ALL CAPS is a VERY legitimate emphasis indicator in the writer’s use when and if he needs it. The other emphasis indicator is italics which is too easily confused here with an indicated quote. Stick around, you just MIGHT learn something.
Like Mr. Jeeves, I'm also a retired business owner, and I agree with his basic points. But I guess Mr. J. doesn't yet realize that a distinctly anti-business mentality now appears to dominate around here, characterized by those who "shriek" a party line that too often is indistinguishable from classic left-wing agitprop.
Moreover, I gotta say that it seems like a total waste of time to try having a constructive dialogue with the shriekers hereabouts. They normally are unable to do much more than engage in ad hominem (or ad feminem) attacks -- which to me are a sure sign that they don't have an intellectually coherent or defensible case to make.
That being said, I hope the Aragonese Lady will continue to bless us with her occasional sarcastic gems. Keep 'em coming!
