Not one will leave until February—then the drop off will be sharp—By March only four will still be in the running.

officiallyâ to replace the fallen Bush/Rubio last hope?
They have the money, they don't have the bodies. Which eight states would Romney win? He can' t even get ON the ballot in NH or VA. He can take MA, UT and ? The rules did not anticipate a populis with appeal in the northeast and inexhaustible resources. Part of the reason there os little organized opposition pouring in new money is that Trump might win, and he keeps score.

Whomever the losers are, they will start a new gang, hold meetings at the RNC and scheme how to get rid of Trump.

It won’t be Jeb. That slime ball will stick to the very end hoping for some GOPe shenanigans that puts him on top.

Gilmore, Huckabee, Santorum, Pataki, and Paul should all drop out. They won’t do it soon, but they should since none of them have any chance at all. My guess: Huckabee next.

The jerk brigade; Kasich, Huck, Paul, Pataki, Santorum, Jeb.
What do these guys expect to prove as they continue to make themselves so irevelent.

Not sure when Huck will drop out, but he's smart enough to back the "strong horse" if he wants a position in a Trump administration. He gives a good speech and would be an able ally on the campaign trail in many sections of the country.
Same with Christie. If Trump wins the early primaries watch the non-Jeb group fall in line behind him fairly quickly. Politicians are first and foremost survivors and pragmatists. Jeb and Rubio will be propped up through Florida before folding their tent.
The only question is whether anyone can slow Trump's momentum. That's one of the reasons Trump wants to steamroller the early primaries--it's as much about demoralizing the other candidates and cutting off their donors as it is about the delegate counts.

Kasich seems to be pushing an agenda that does not involve winning the nomination but primarily wanting to hurt Trump - his comments so far-fetched as to make one wonder about his reasoning ability.

I’d say Howdy Doody except he probably intends to stay in so he can help Jeb steal Ohio. Same for Pataki and New York...
So I’ll go with the Huckster, angling for a cabinet position.

Pataki, then Huckabee. Santorum will stay in until Iowa, Fiorina until NH, and Jeb! until at least SC. Kasich is anybody's guess.
Holy Crow ... you answered *exactly* as I would have. I don't think Kasich's ego would survive the embarrassment of the Ohio primary, however ... so he is out before March.

I picked Pataki. I do not even know who the hell he is, suspect many other people do not either. Why is someone that unknown even running?

Huck, and I expect him to endorse Cruz. Doubtful he'll endorse Cruz - his campaign and his Super PAC are spending all their time and money attacking Cruz right now in Iowa. Huck is just despicable and duplicitous and it just irks him that as hard as he thumps his Bible - the Iowa evangelicals prefer Cruz by a bunch.

Heâs pooped in his nest going negative on Cruz with such deceitful ads and itâs p*ssed many off and backfired on him. Is there evidence it's backfired on him? I mean it should...and I hope it does - and there's no way it's going to help him. But it might hurt Cruz - unless there is a backlash....I'm hoping you can show me something on this.
