God warned Israel what would happen if they fell away from his truth and his commandments in Deuteronomy 28:

It’s not the first time. Our Puritan forefathers dealt with the same things. They came here and created the United States of America. Then, one day puritannical became an insult, a claim that a person was not hip and cool. We lost the USA after that.
God has made it clear that he does not need the USA. This nation will pass into history as other great Christian nations, and Jewish nations, have done in the past. How many times did he cast his own chosen people into slavery under idolators for a couple generations? Look at the resurgence of Russian Christianity since they came out of their 70 years of Communist rule. (70 years.....hmmmm. Where has that length of time occurred before?)

Actually, there is everyplace where it is just the individual “us” and God. The amenity-filled church is dying in the “Christian” nations. For the most part, good riddance! We send missionaries to places like Haiti or Africa and they see Christians walking miles to a shack that serves as their church. They set their cross up on the rough altar and break out their one bible and preach from it. The pagans and heathens in those countries don’t feel a social need to “join a church” for networking and because “its the right thing to do”.
Our missionaries come back and report the wonderful worship they saw and participated in. We all say, “I wish we could have that here” and then we go back to complaining about the A/C or the too-loud drums or the fact that its after noon and the preacher is STILL talking! Satan’s minions are strengthening the faithful. They just don’t know it yet.
I think it is time to deport Congress for not dealing properly with the immigration laws.
