British socialists are screwed in the head. I tried watching a documentary on “British Soul Music” which seamed largely derivative of American soul music. Talking heads in said that Thatcherism made it easier for them to find relief in the messages of these songs. Really? REALLY? And it wasn’t one lonely soul making such claims.
