By now, the reasons should be clear.
...
...Conservatives nationally are seeing that he's the one candidate who is going to return this country to her Constitutional foundations and Judeo-Christian values.
On every issue of crucial importance to conservatives-defunding Planned Parenthood, ending the Obamacare nightmare, reducing the size of government, opposing amnesty-Cruz is not only with conservatives, he's led the fight for conservatives.
...He's done it over and over, fearlessly. It's what leaders do.
...
My friend Richard Viguerie always asks an important question when it comes to a candidate claiming to be a conservative, which they all do because they cannot be elected without conservatives. Does he walk with us? Where was he or she before the campaign? Were they regulars at our meetings and conferences? Were they helping conservative candidates, organizations, causes?
Or are they conveniently "conservatives" now because they need us?
Ted Cruz has been a part of the movement since the start of his career in Texas. No other candidate - none - can say this.
...
But can he win?
There's nothing the Left would like more than to see Donald Trump win the GOP nomination. He cannot, will not defeat Hillary Clinton. She will be our next president, and God help us then.
Only Ted Cruz can defeat Trump; and if he does, he'll defeat Hillary.
The Left knows this reality too. This is why the vicious, personal attacks against Cruz are underway. He's been through this before, and all the establishment-led character assassination attempts in the past have failed. This time they will be more malicious than ever.
...
It's time for every conservative leader to stand and be counted.
It's time for the movement to rally around Ted Cruz, to make him the next president of the United States.

And how well does history show such bombastic claims to pollsters hold up? I’m not saying I’d rather receive 60% than 30% as the answer to such a question, but a good guy at 30% would just keep working. Part of this must be name recognition, where Trump is up with, if not ahead of, Hillary. Cruz is still working to build his.
oops, reversed it: should ‘receive 30%A than 60%”’
First choice - Cruz. Yes his wife does worry me.
Second choice - Trump. Love the way he deals with the left but he is not consistently conservative.
Will not vote for any of the others.
Cruz/Trump, a President guided by the Constitution, and a VP plowing the fallow ground. A VP is can get away with a lot more than a President. Trump knocking them down and Cruz putting them in their place!
Man, that would be sweet.
I have no clue what you’re trying to say here...who or what is the new Obama symbol?
We need an intelligent, successful candidate who can street fight the leftwing communists and her SuperPac (Marxist Media).
We don’t need a pleasant Hahvard debater who signed TPA, Corker Bill and refuses to say “Deport”.
Trump Campaign video...amazing!!!

Cruz’s wife is not evil because she manages portfolios for people of $40 million and above. Like her husband, she is smart as all get out. She and Ted are solid Christians who live their lives with daily prayer and Bible study.
I will take a man any day who asks God for Wisdom over one who, by his own admission, has never asked God for forgiveness.
Yes. Repeat over-and-over again that Trump has a big lead in the media paid for polls and that Cruz (the conservative) can't beat Hillary.
Do it for half a year and it becomes a self fulfilling prophecy.
Give me a break. Trump, who spent decades building his empire and calling the shots, is not going to be VP to a Senator barely into a third of his term.
So then you must also be concerned that Trump's big Chicago Tower was financed in part by George Soros.
I never said that Cruz couldn't beat Hillary nor repeating this lie from the Left. I'm pointing out how folks say that Trump can't Hillary, but their candidates can't beat Trump themselves.
EXACTLY!
Clarification noted. Yes Cruz can beat Hillary.
As far as Cruz beating Trump, I'll wait until the voting results to see what happens. And it's not like Rubio or some other GOPe is going to sneak in because people voted for the conservative Cruz instead of Trump.
Wrong. Heidi Cruz authored the CFR report for the North American Union, along with Condi Rice. Her ties to the Bush family are well documented. Her fundraising skills are how Ted won his Senate race against Dewhurst, and how Ted has his huge campaign fund now.
Ted is owned by some big donors who don’t share the conservative values he claims. Club for Growth, Berkshire Hathaway, and quite obviously Goldman Sachs. FOLLOW THE MONEY!!!
The left really wants Ted to take down Trump. Like the rest, he will fail.
Comment was posted to the altered score card. Little circular flag symbols were pasted over the score card points. Eerily similar to Obama’s campaign.
Ted Cruz called the CFR a nest of sovereignty stealing vipers.
Ted is owned by some big donors who donât share the conservative values he claims. Club for Growth, Berkshire Hathaway, and quite obviously Goldman Sachs. FOLLOW THE MONEY!!!
Wrong. If you are going to "follow the money" you need to actually following the money and not make things up.
As of the last reporting period, Cruz's PAC's were worth close to 40 million. About 36 million of that comes from four patriotic billionaires who are all some combination of anti illegal immigration, pro US energy and pro evangelical.
Cruz's PACs are run by David Barton who is an evangelical and who is anti illegal immigration.
CfG, as of 2013, due to internal squabbling, is now neutral on illegal immigration. They gave a relatively small 700K. GS gave a tiny 40K(lol) out of 40 million.
The left really wants Ted to take down Trump. Like the rest, he will fail.
That's your opinion. I see the left criticizing Trump which raises Trump's numbers in the primary but decreases Trump's numbers in the general election. And I think that they are happy with that.
I’m not surprised to hear common sense and reason from Bozell.
He’s absolutely right.
Ted is in a cult religion (Rachel Maddow got this one going).
Cruz birtherism.
Attacks from the left.
Ain’t gonna happen, Brent.
My wife worked for Big Oil. Should I be suspicious?
