That is the kind of response I expect you to receive, or that you’re an impediment to progress, that Trump is the “best” candidate, elitists vs. populists, etc. That Trump’s name is in the headline with a possibly negative connotation is about all that is needed for frothing to begin.
I myself am left wondering what has happened to the purported conservatism that made FR such a bastion of principles and values...that so many have abandoned conservatism in favor of “just win baby” is more than a tad disturbing, it’s almost depressing.
Trump’s positions on a couple of items disturb me, can’t say I won’t vote for him, but he’s not my preferred...so, I’ll just stay out of the way and let the Trump threads run their course. There doesn’t appear to be much room on FR for polite discourse any longer. I’d rather not be drawn into the pen, if you know what I mean.
