Huckabee Advocates Monitoring Mosques, Says Obama Protecting Islam

Republican presidential candidate and former Arkansas Governor Mike Huckabee advocates monitoring mosques and says he thinks Barack Obama is more interested in protecting the reputation of Islam than he is in protecting Americans.

"I'm amazed that people think it's inappropriate for there to be some monitoring of things that are being said in mosques anymore than if we had a rash of Presbyterian attackers that were killing people," Huckabee told host Stephen K. Bannon today on Breitbart News Daily.

If recent domestic violence had been committed by "Presbyterians, or Lutherans or Baptists, I'd say we better start checking to see what's being said in the pulpits of Lutheran, Presbyterian, or Baptist churches," added Huckabee.

"We're not talking about infiltrating and spying, we're talking about just monitoring and people act like that's somehow a violation of the First Amendment. The point being, these are public places and if people want to come to my church, they're welcome to do it

I give no credit to the Huck. He is found to speak out at times but how often and how loud does he speak? His ‘conservative’ side is hidden more often than not. He is no conservative but a wino/rino. Someone who would never get this vote. As he is a Minister, he must be give some respect - therefore he is given just a little. LOL otherwise the throttle would be wide open! Still wonder how and why he made it this far. The Lord moves in mysterious ways :-)

In a lot of ways Huckabee reminds me of Jimmy Carter. Both have gotten votes from people because of their Christian faith. Carter is still playing up the “Sunday School teacher” thing. Huckabee the minister. Both get a pass by some on the things they really stand for. I have a low opinion of both of them. (Of course, between the two of them, if I had to choose, the huckster would definitely get my grudgingly given vote!)

After living thru the Carter years, I tend to agree with you. Carter - the reason I left the rat party. And the shenanigans since have kept me away. Now that I’ve left the republican party - just a hobo who doesn*t ride trains any longer. That is, until the Trump Train began its schedule :-)

Attempting to defend him? suggest you read what is written before you attack. Where was it said he was wrong? Where?
Are you reading things into it or are you hearing voices?
