This story is nonsense because the Senate passed the bill, too.

If we're to believe that Ryan was naively tricked into passing this bill in the House, then the Republican-controlled Senate should have been the backstop to protect him, but it didn't.

The only reasonable explanation for this is that nobody was fooled; this is what they wanted.

The GOP is probably just thinking that they can exploit Ryan's newness as the excuse this time. Ryan had one free "foul to give."

Which is EXACTLYthe same scenario of right wing voters electing GOP liberals. It is exactly what they wanted.

Logic holds that if Ryan knew and his congressmen knew and did it anyway, its no different than GOP voters knowing they were electing liberals, which they did (lesser evil/no matter what) and doing it anyway.

Can’t have this both ways folks. This is exactly why it is existential for us to stop electing GOP liberals.
