I was just at Sam’s club. Bill came to $97.24. I gave the clerk a $100 bill and 24 cents. She just looked at me with a panicked stare.

This has been a rapidly growing trend over the last few years. Doesn’t matter the race as I’ve noticed it with young 18+ (women mainly) of all races but never an Asian, never the other Asians (middle east, India, Pakistani) and only a rare Hispanic or two.

All including males. Gave similar to a guy at McDonald’s one day. He stared for awhile, eventually the assistant manager, a black lady, told him what to give me. We both just shook our heads.

I had a booth at a crafts fair and needed cash for change. Went to our credit union teller and said I needed 50 one-dollar bills, 20 five-dollar bills, and 20 ten-dollar bills. The (young) teller needed to enter the total amount into her computer, and she freaked out. She called over “Mary” (older) from the next station for help and said, “How much is it?! This is math!”
