In many states, if you’re not a Republican, you can’t vote in Republican primaries. That’s the only reason I’m still in.

Same reason here.

But given the overt targeting that Registered Republicans are about to receive, I may go Galt with my voting.

In NC you can; I’m registered “unaffiliated”.

Voting in Republican primaries flags my voting record and always generates years of junk mailings (soliciting money) from the local Republican organizations.

Me too. The minute there is a national Conservative or Tea Party, i’m gone, but right now our only hope is to “primary” some of these ba$tards.

This is why I'm still officially a Republican too. Florida is a closed primary state. I feel very little loyalty to the Republican Party, even though I have never voted for a Democrat in my life.
