Bring all the guys home for Christmas, get the hell out of there, all we’re doing is getting killed.
It’s at best a water treading exercise. Maybe even Big Ears keeps it up to try to keep the red meat Americans semi calm.
We need to add spiritual warfare to this, but imagine the head explosion of the church/state separatists should the Pentagon actually spearhead such an initiative. And it wouldn’t happen under Big Ears, but it might be plausible under either a Trump or a Cruz.
Or (shock horror) it could be an utterly independent, trans-church effort.
God is willing to be put to the test for the sake of weak faith... what if Christians got together and concentrated on one city in the Middle East. Prayed for spiritual warfare just for that one place and watched what happened, kind of like the fleece. The thing is, though, if they find God is willing... they can’t wimp out, say that is a nice experiment, and disband. They have to go in whole heartedly.
