What is the GOPe to do now? Two strong targets. Will they have enough ammo to take both down, especially since they have spent most of their ammo trying to take down only one?
One of them WILL be nominated and there’s not a damn thing they can do about it.
Oh no, does this mean Cruz will drop out?
Steak or lobster? I can enjoy either or both. Just based on the incredible turnouts at the Trump rallies, you would think that Donald has the GOTV advantage over Ted.
Prediction on last three standing: Trump 40%, Cruz 35%, Rube 25%.
Outcome: Cruz-Rubio Ticket.
Determinate: Hillary polls better vs. Trump and Cruz polls better against Hillary.
Hey, McCorrupt, Rinse, et. al.
SUCK IT!!
Conservatives have flirted with Trump but they want to take Cruz home to meet the folks.
Love Cruz but clearly this gain is about every other temporary “surger” that came before Cruz being a flameout and the national cabal out to destroy Trump. When you become the number one item discussed and all that discussion is in loaded terms like NAZI, rascist, liar, etc. it’s not possible at this level of intensity to suffer, at least, some. Since there’s no Fiorina’s or Carson’s or Kasich’s left, Ted is getting the benefit. I hope Cruz has Trump’s nads because if it’s successful, the guns will all turn on him and he has nothing like the deep well of support that Trump has. What deceitful times we live in.
“For Trump, half of those responding â 50 percent â indicated that they would be embarrassed to have him as commander in chief”
A poll with at least 40% democrats, who overwhelmingly choose Hillary, and embarrassed to have Trump as a commander in chief?
“Conservatives have flirted with Trump but they want to take Cruz home to meet the folks.”
Conservatives have the guy they need to win, but rather take the one they will feel better losing with because we love that martyr complex.
We do it every 4 years. Quite frankly if we toss this shot, then we deserve to lose.
Cruz would be destroyed by the Clinton’s and the media. He was reduced to stuttering by Brett Baier.
And his Dominionist videos and ties haven’t even gotten into mainstream circulation.

Especially considering that the trio of outsiders or anti-establishment candidates, Trump, Cruz and Carson, are getting 60% of the vote. That hasn t changed in 5 months. And it isn t going to change.
We re mad as hell and we re not going to take it anymore.
While I understand Trump's appeal and the frustration that people feel over the direction of this country, I've never fully jumped on his bandwagon.
I just watched a documentary about Donald Trump at https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=U2SZgpeloL8 that solidified those doubts. It's about Trump developing a golf course in Scotland and the disregard of the local people in the process of the development. It sheds (for me) a more finely-focused light on how the Donald speaks: the people love me; we will be employing local people; the golf course will be spectacular, and so on.
The Donald is a gifted sales man, but let the buyer beware.
Cruz would be Goldwater II. Yep. Not that he’d deserve it, but by the end that won’t be pretty. With Trump they’ve no place left go now - they’ve already used up the scoundrels tool kit.
“Conservatives have flirted with Trump but they want to take Cruz home to meet the folks.”
I love that analogy.
If we toss the chance to elect a real conservative we lose if we win.
Do your predictions take in to account that Trump hasn’t spent any money on advertising? He will smother Cruz and everyone else if he decides to open the Trump money floodgates.
