It’s a classic strawman argument.
This mother and child are American citizens, right? There’s less liklihood that the “Army” will come for them than it would lawful firearms owners.
Imagine the reaction on the Left to an article about a parent reinforcing his childs fears that the Army is coming to get him over guns.
Sounds like abuse of a child to me.
