Being VCDL, do you have any further information on what mechanism is being used here? I just find it unusual that the AG has the unilateral authority on something like CCW reciprocity. I’d think rescinding it would require legislative action.

Seems to me you are right about it being a legislative action but we, the people of VA voted for traditional marriage (like Prop 8 in CA) only to have Red Herring throw it out...not a peep of opposition from the Opposition Party when it happened.
I dont think he has the power to do this. He shouldnt have if he does. Just like Mcawful shouldnt have the power to stop the confederate plates. They passed legislation. The gutless gop will remain silent on this too ? Virginia doesnt have a king. A GOp spokesman should come out and tell them to go F themselves. But they wont.
