Fox News anchors Bret Baier, Megyn Kelly and Chris Wallace are reuniting as moderators for the next Fox News-hosted Republican presidential primary debate, the network announced Monday.

The three will moderate a two-hour debate Thursday, Jan. 28, from Des Moines, Iowa, days before the Iowa caucuses. It's not clear yet whether there will be an undercard debate, and in its release, Fox News only made reference to a prime-time debate, beginning at 9 p.m. ET.

I’m sure they will be nicer to Trump this go-round.

Their task will be to take out Cruz, which FNC has been amping up in the last few weeks with his revet risen the polls.

I’d prefer to see a Cavuto/Greta tag team. I think they both are professional and fair-minded, unlike the 3 chosen!

I thought Hannity was ready to moderate after that last fiasco. Doesn’t he have any seniority over there? Why can’t we have a genuine conservative EEEEEVVVVVEEEERRRRR???????

Trump and Cruz will have no problem with going after the moderators. The moderators had better be on their best behavior or they will get pummeled and the viewers will love it.

Even if the moderators try to rip him to shreds in his absence (which is a real chicken s*** move the audience would see through), I think he would easily recover in the days afterward, just by being his old charming, hard-hitting, take-no-nonsense self.

But I like your idea a lot, too! He’s going to come out on top, I’m sure. When they got in the ring with Donald Trump, they chose to play way outside their league.

You Trumpers are such whiners. First you say that media attacks only make Trump stronger. If this is true why should you not want the attacks to continue> You should embrace them.

This is your comment so you own it. It's idiotic and something I'd expect from a leftist moron. I am starting to lose my capacity to be patient with asinine comments such as yours.

I also have stopped watching Fox News-— and when I do switch over for a minute, I see Megyn Kelley being completely biased— or the panel of george will and kraut calling trump a clown...

Time to thin the herd. Put Trump, Cruz, Rubio, and Carson on the prime time stage. Send the rest to the minor league warmup debate.

Then let Thomas Sowell, Walter Williams, Allen West, and Mia Love be the moderators. Show the minorities in America there are some deep thinking and incredibly intelligent conservative blacks in the USA.

I have quit watching Fox except for Hannity and Judge Jeanine. Sometimes I will watch Greta/O’Reilly for a few minutes.
I used to be a 24/7 Fox News fan, especially with MeGYN, but since the debates I can’t stand her, Bret and Chris. They all shocked me that night and I will never forget. The three of them make me sick and I do not trust them anymore. So unprofessional.

I hope Trump refuses that debate, along with Cruz. I am refusing to watch it if MeGYN, Chris and Bret are the moderators.

Yes Trump gets popped out further up on the top of the pile the more they try to grind him down.

I’m not really surprised that Fox would use the same team therefore the same “destroy conservatism” mode again.

They are looking for a beat down IMO, crusin’ for a brusin’ and The Donald is just the man to do it!

He punches back, many KO’s

“His vote meant that it could be debated.”

And you Cruz supporters accuse Trump supporters of being delusional.

Now listen carefully; Cruz’s vote, along with all the Republican senators save the Arkansas senator, passed the Corker bill, which enabled Obama to put the Iranian agreement into effect.

You cannot ever, in U.S. history, locate a bill that was voted on and passed where it only enabled conversation about the bill to take place. That is outrageous.

When a bill is passed, it becomes law. You can debate it until you are blue in the face; it won’t change a thing. The bill is law, and will be law, until the legislature changes it.

See:

Looking at more recent ratings, it appears that Kelly is second in Total Viewers only to longtime number one Bill O’Reilly. However, she frequently beats him in the younger demographic.

Your capacity to be patient means less than squat to me. My initial comment was generically addressed to Trump whiners. If you chose to take this label (which after listening to your rants I agree)that's your problem.

Having Kelly there is like Clinton doing a debate with Paula Jones as moderator.

So asking tough questions is akin to Clinton's actions. Nice degree of morality you have there.
