Who knows whether you are actually an expert in the employment of people in whatever industry you claim to be a part of, but there is no question that "free trade" strips the US of its jobs at an alarming rate. The recent TPP bill-- which Cruz still supports in principle, though he opposes parts of it-- would result in a mass exodus of American jobs to places like Vietnam, where the average manufacturing worker gets paid about 140 dollars a month. There have already been articles about US companies planning to move into Vietnam and other TPP countries.
