Your argument is pretty weak to begin with (it doesn't actually have Trump saying "I won't deport"), but please do not misstate my own. I never stated that Cruz had this position only in Spring of 2013. Cruz always opposed the pathway to citizenship, but my position is that he's supported legalization after border enforcement from 2013 to March 2015, and after March refused to answer questions about deportation, and finally in December began to take a hard line position while lying that he ever supported legalization to begin with.

Trump was asked straight out what to do with the good ones, and all he could do was say that he was going to do something for them. And he made NO mention of deporting them.

I've already documented for you weeks ago that Cruz fought against the legalization amnesty in the House in January 2014. And he said then that a legalization amnesty was never justified.
