What a joke. First, if not for white voters voting for him he wouldn't be in office. It's not like he got elected only because of minority voters.
Second, if he wants an example of scorn, he should look at the comments that were made about Reagan, and Bush, and Cheney. They were ugly and recurrent. He's had an easy ride in a relative sense.
Third, whenever an African American has become a public figure as a Republican, they have been treated like dirt from the left - because they dared to think differently than the left deems appropriate. Clearly, if Ben Carson were to win the nomination the left would try to destroy him politically. We've seen it before. On the other hand, if an African American would up being the Republican nominee Republicans would for them without thinking about race. So who are actually the racists?
Ted Cruz has hispanic roots, as does Rubio. Does the left have any problem trying to trash them? Of course not, but if they were running as democrats and were criticized by Republicans there would be claims that this was motivated by racism.
