The New York Times reported:
President Obama said in a radio interview airing on Monday that Donald J. Trump, a leading contender for the Republican presidential nomination, is exploiting the resentment and anxieties of working-class men to boost his campaign. Mr. Obama also argued that some of the scorn directed at him personally stems from the fact that he is the first African-American to hold the White House.
Demographic changes and economic stresses, including "flatlining" wages and incomes, have meant that "particularly blue-collar men have had a lot of trouble in this new economy, where they are no longer getting the same bargain that they got when they were going to a factory and able to support their families on a single paycheck," Mr. Obama said in the interview with National Public Radio.
"You combine those things, and it means that there is going to be potential anger, frustration, fear - some of it justified, but just misdirected,"

Really??? Really??? So obama is slamming people for supporting someone else because HIS polices have left them nearly destitute, whereas they were able to earn a living BEFORE obama was President? That’s hard to believe people whose lives he is destroying support an opponent who promises to make America great again and bring back all of those manufacturing jobs obama destroyed, right? Actually, what’s REALLY hard to believe is obama is admitting he’s nearly destroyed our economy and then wondering why people have turned against him.
No, it is because he is the enemy of the America. Changing a real country into a third world crap-nation like his homeland. The most anti-American this country has ever seen. Hopefully the last!

For a liberal, it boils down to using racism and sexism to cure racism and sexism.
If you are white (racism) and male (sexism) you are to blame for everything wrong with this country. This is their logic.
“why can't we all just get along.” is their mantra. It might be useless to point out that Obama has everyone hating each other but then again it might not.
So Obama's recession is actually to blame for the mess we're in. Add to that his coddling of terrorists and it's the real reason Trump is popular.
I can imagine what is going on in Obama’s head. He must be paranoid and delusional like Hitler seeing enemies everywhere and projecting that into the population. That is the only thing he knows. Tearing people down and make them as unhappy as possible.
It is part and parcel of the >whole< Democrat party.
Democrats thrive on discontentment and would quickly be out of a job if there were true peace and harmony. So whenever people seem to be getting along peacefully, they have to create situations where people end up disliking and even hating each other. And whenever there is an incident they don’t try to bring people together but seize on the opportunity to gain political points.
Pretty bad stuff. But, as you mention, is the only thing that they know.
I often think about the kinds of meds democrats have to be on in order to foster the hatred and discontent they live with in their heads. It would be fascinating to know what kind of meds they need to get through the day.
Hillary Clinton looks completely drugged out. I do not buy for a minute that she had to be on the bathroom longer than unusual for the dem debates. She was either having some kind of seizure or throwing up or a blood pressure thing or something like that.
Study her closely and she looks like a zombie.
Yup. I bet you that they don’t believe all of the snake oil lies that they are peddling. No, cops don’t hate blacks, minorities don’t hate whites and whites don’t hate blacks, and men don’t hate women, and selling baby body parts is truly brutal in the worst way, the problem with society is the disintegration of the family, yes, there are Muslims that want to kill Americans, etc.
Anyway, you may be correct — they must set aside their conscience and any reasonable and logical thought and the only way to do that is with medication. It must be a very strong medication.
The good news is that they don’t completely control the media and there are a group of people, albeit small in comparison, that put up a good fight.
