What was his point? Every time he would make a legitimate point on world events (for all the crap he gets around here, he is actually well read and knowledgable about the world) he would then turn around and propose policies that were at best unworkable or at worst laughable. (His interpretation of what he knows is by far his biggest failing)

Today was the deadline for South Carolina's ballot: either drop out or be on it.

National Security was his issue. He thinks he drew attention to the need to confront ISIS and terrorism in no uncertain terms.

He emphasized his several trips to the Middle East (30 plus times) --- the need for OUR troops on the ground --- and IIRC, he thinks that he has persuaded others to go along with OUR troops on the ground.
