“IIRC, this is the ONLY time that Hillary has EVER walked back any statement of hers.”

I’m wondering if a statement such add this could be grounds to sue for libel. Anyone know?

Almost certainly not.

Trump is about as public as you get, and you can say just about anything you want about public figures.

The bar for libel on a public figure is very high. Not only does it have to be provably false, but it has to be shown that the person doing the libel knew it was false and that they lied maliciously.

Probably not, because Trump is a public figure, but I don’t know that for certain.
