You think getting along is always capitulating, but a leader gets along by drawing others to their side.

"Go along to get along" defines capitulation.

From your comment, I gather that you favor Mitch McConnell and the Republican Senate rank & file to the Cruz/Lee/Sessions faction.

I know you don't. But that's what you're inferring.

I never said ‘go along to get aling.’ why are you misquoting me, then attacking me for it. it’s not very honest.

How is drawing someone to their side capitulating? I feel like I’m in 1984 with the double speak. Reagan drew people to his side, he had lots of cross-over voters and got congress to go along with his ideas. If that’s your definition of capitulating, then it becomes a good thing. (it’s not my definition)
