Good for Rush. I did not hear him Friday but I am sure he has had a lot to say about the budget bill. Where do we go from here? We cannot believe our leadership or the Obama flunkies. None of them intend to pay off anything so the argument about fiscal responsibility/sanity is moot. Sky and beyond is the limit.

Anyone remember this brilliant idea from the party that has the brightest President the nation has ever experienced? /s<

Fans of economic policy may recall that during one of the many recent debt ceiling showdowns, the idea to mint a trillion-dollar platinum coin came to the fore. It turns out that the Obama administration took the idea seriously enough to have the Justice Department’s Office of Legal Counsel draft memos pertaining to its legality, a fact belied by the White House’s out-of-hand dismissal of the option in January

I did a little net checking and for the first time realized that Paul Ryan is actually very well off financially. He is an 18 yr, 9 term congressman with a gov golden parachute when he retires and has a million plus portfolio to tide him over should he be defeated by an American First candidate from his state. He may have been chosen speaker because Boehner was threatening to stay on if his choice of replacement was not accepted by the other congresscriters. The ones who had opposed Boehner recently were punished by him for doing so. Many of these people cannot afford to pay the penalty for opposing the House speaker who controls their assignments to committees of varying importance to each. Ryan has not acted out of impending penury. He could afford to tough out a fight for fiscal salvation for America. Instead, Ryan did what was most opportune and feasible for his personal advancement with govt power brokers as well as those in the corporate world. Paul Ryan has revealed his version of a good Republican. He has a bright future with the Uniparty.
